I paint intuitively, abstractly, using primarily acrylic paints although i love sneaking in the occasional pastel. I rarely have an intention when I begin. I enjoy the spaces, and the ambiguity, and the possibilities, and the journey with this approach. Sometimes the paintings will sit for a while, or it just needs a pause. Eventually through the layers of paint, something will emerge. I allow that to lead me. But I like to keep it a bit elusive, allowing the perception to be the viewers.
